It’s approximately ten thousand degrees here in the Pacific Northwest. Rainy Seattle? A faint memory. By Andrew Spencer CNN (CNN) — Seattle is bracing for its hottest day on record — 100 degrees Fahrenheit — on Wednesday, as a heat wave grips the Pacific Northwest. “100 is the all-time record for Seattle for any day, for any month, for any year,” according to University of Washington professor Cliff Mass. It was Duke University on the line, After being waitlisted at Duke in May, I’ve repeatedly called and wrote to them trying to get in. Well persistence pays off. I learned this strategy after been waitlisted at Seattle University as a high school senior. I wrote SU a letter a week until they let me in. (it took 10 weeks
Seventy professors at Texas Tech University have signed a petition protesting the hiring of Alberto Gonzales and have accused the college’s chancellor of nepotism in bringing the disgraced former attorney general to campus to teach a political science class.
