That’s right folks of all shapes and sizes, Humpday , the local flick directed by superstar Lynn Shelton and co-produced by one of our favorite folk on the whole planet, the amazing Jennifer Maas is premiering tonight in Seattle at the supposedly haunted Harvard Exit on the safer side of Capitol Hill. The film’s been gangbuster since it was sold (second day) at Sundance (where it went on to win a Special Jury Prize) then got selected to be screened in the prestigious Director’s Fortnight at a
I’m a big fan of athletes being on Facebook, Twitter, or any means of direct communication with their fans. They can give ESPN and beat writers the cookie cutter answers, and then open up in the privacy of the social media site of their choosing. But this isn’t always a good thing. Take Dallas Cowboys tight end Martellus Bennett . Marty B has had ups and downs with YouTube. He got in trouble for his Cowboys Rap, but has bounced back nicely with a Cap’n Crunch Rap . Until Now. Marty B’s

In honor of my homegirl Renee celebrating another anniversary of her 30th birthday, this week's edition of the Shut Up Fool! Awards is dedicated to her. May your family at least let you chow down on some of the Timbits you get to celebrate this auspicious occasion along with your fave Timmy's Icecap. Speaking of celebrations, time to see what fool (or fools) we will shine a spotlight on this week. Well, this week it's one of my fave sellout ministers, homohater Ken Hutcherson. He along

Last Friday, a fire at Fisher Plaza in Seattle knocked out a number of popular websites, including Microsoft Bing’s recently launched Travel portal. The site was back up by Saturday afternoon, but not before Google caught the the site’s placeholder “Bing Temporarily Unavailable” page and added it to its index (you can see the cached page here ).
Sonja Kassebaum is a Chicago-based boutique distiller ( North Shore Distillery ) and cocktail blogger ( Thinking of Drinking ), as well as the president of Chicago LUPEC . I wrote a preview of this session a few weeks ago, and headed into it with some level of anticipation. I was hoping to see some really innovative things, and thought I would report back on what I heard and saw. In short, I didn’t see anything that blew me away, but I did see a few things that we’ll all be seeing m
Hats off to Ichiro

Ichiro Suzuki continues to amaze. What skills he has. Already in this game he's beaten out a ground ball for a hit, put down a perfect bunt for a hit, stolen a base and battled a tough sun in right field for a couple of putouts. He may not be the home run/RBI machine fantasy players crave in an outfielder, but he's special. In his eight full seasons in Seattle, he's never played fewer than 157 games, never had fewer than 206 hits, less than 31 steals or an on-base percentage of less than .
